On the Nokia smartphones, users have been dealing with the issue of the System UI crashing. It can happen randomly while trying to open an application or just crash on other occasions too. So in this article, we will mention few solutions which we hope will help you in solving the Nokia System.UI Crashing issue.
Run in safe mode and look for any malicious application
Running the device in safe mode will disable all third party applications installed on the device. This will help in figuring out if a malicious application is causing the issue with the System UI crashing. To run the phone in safe mode, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the power button until it asks you to Power Off the device.
- Then press and hold the Power Off option until it asks you to reboot the phone in safe mode.
- Lastly, press Ok to restart your device in safe mode. A text will appear after rebooting at the bottom left of the screen saying “Safe mode”.
If the System UI doesn’t crash anymore, its means that a third party application is the cause of the issue. Now, you can either delete the third party applications or at least the one causing the System UI to crash.
Clear cache and uninstall updates for an application facing issues
Follow the steps below to clear the cache and uninstall any updates to help solve the issue with an application:
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “All Apps”
- Open the application facing the issue
- Clear its cache
- Uninstall all updates
Hopefully, now that application should not crash the System UI anymore as clearing cache and uninstalling updates should solve any such problems.
